About Karaamat

Greetings! I am a graphic and brand designer based in Philadelphia, PA. I developed a passion for design after being exposed to the arts throughout my youth, taking a liking to printmaking, drawing, and martial arts, eventually leading me to complete my graphic design studies at the University of the Arts.

For over a decade in the industry, I built my career providing creative solutions for large non-profit organizations via in-house roles, and for smaller businesses on a freelance basis. With a passion for branding, social media, and strategic marketing communications, I’ve developed digital and print chops, and a goal-oriented outlook over the years. Recently, I completed a UX design certificate program at Rutgers University in 2018 and became an AIGA Certified Design Leader in January of 2024.

Outside of design, I have also been lucky to leverage my personality by working as an experiential marketer, brand ambassador, and event producer for more than eight years. Taking part in both unconventional and formal events and promotions gave me insight on effective (and not so effective) marketing strategies, trends, wayfinding, and guest relations. Clients I represented during this period include FOX, ABC, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Microsoft, Gatorade, Nike, Toyota, Chevrolet, and others.

When I’m not working for myself or others, you can find me playing pick-up basketball, discovering music artists before they become mainstream, or trying new restaurants.

I am currently seeking new opportunities, creative partnerships, and projects both large and small, in efforts to help businesses reach audiences in an ever-competitive marketplace.
